First Look: Cotton Cordell Wally Stinger

New to the Cotton Cordell family of Wally lures is a heftier version of the Wally Diver named the Wally Stinger. It’s stretched out and flatter than the original Wally Diver, giving it a banana-like shape that drives the lure deep and makes it perfect for trolling, though it works just as well in casting situations. The beefed-up Stinger also has loud rattles and wide-gap treble hooks to attract walleyes and make them stick.

The Wally Stinger is available in two sizes. The 3 1/2-inch model weighs 1/4 ounce and will dive to 10 feet when cast and up to 20 feet when trolled. The 5-inch model weighs 5/8 ounce and will get down to 15 feet on casting gear and 25 feet when trolled. The lure retails for $5.99 and is available in 18 color patterns. (cottoncordelllures.com)
