Mark Rose recently announced the signing of two new sponsors – Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce and Lew’s. For Country Bob’s, the agreement marks the company’s initial foray into professional fishing.

“I can't express how excited I am about this new partnership with Country Bob’s and how it came about (starting about 5 years ago) – it was definitely a Godsend,” Rose said. “We both share the same Christian values and the sauce is unbelievably good … on everything!”

Added Albert Malekovic, who works in sales and marketing for Country Bob’s: “Being outdoorsmen ourselves, we’ve always wanted to convey to the outdoorsmen of the world that our All Purpose Sauce is not only great on beef, pork and chicken, but also the best compliment for fish, deer and other game. We’ve known of Mr. Rose’s incredible fishing talent, his faith and his great sportsmanship for some time. Once we were able to meet with him and his wonderful family, we knew that Mark Rose and Rose Outdoors were the perfect partner for us and we couldn’t be more proud and excited to work together.”

Rose’s agreement with Lew’s is for both baitcasting and spinning reels. It’s the second major signing of 2013 for Lew’s as the company brought Chevy pro Jay Yelas on board earlier this month.

“We know that today’s bass anglers have many tournament options, from local to regional to national, and both Jay and Mark are excellent examples of how working hard on and off the water can pay off in a history of successes, most recently along the FLW Tour events,” said Gary Remensnyder, Lew’s president. “We especially like the fact that both men are good role models for our brand and for the sport of fishing everywhere they go. After all, they spend a lot more time preparing for tournaments, and traveling to and from them, than actually fishing. It’s during these times that they have many quality interactions with the public, and that’s just as important to us in their representation of the Lew’s name.”

Rose’s title sponsor for the 2013 season is Walmart, as he replaces fellow Arkansan and legendary angler George Cochran, who retired after the 2012 season.
