ELWOOD, Ind. – Red Gold, Inc., announced this week the re-signing of FLW Tour Pro Todd Hollowell to a multi-year agreement. “Todd proved last year that he is not only an excellent fisherman, but an outstanding representative of our company and our values,” said Colt Reichart, Red Gold’s Manager of New Media Communications.
“It’s an honor to represent the Red Gold brand traveling across the U.S. They produce the freshest, best tasting tomato products in the world. I’m very excited to be working with a company who believes in excellence and understands the platform we have to reach the outdoor market segment,” Hollowell stated.
Hollowell will fish the FLW Tour again in 2013, in addition to other events, and will continue to sport the colorful Red Gold logo and boat wrap. Prior to fishing the FLW Tour, he was a two-time Walmart BFL All-American and Everstart Championship qualifier who successfully made a transition to the Tour level this year. He finished 36th in the FLW Tour points standings this season and qualified for the Forrest Wood Cup in his rookie campaign. His season’s results included four Top 40 finishes in six events, highlighted by a 7th place finish at Kentucky Lake in June.
“I’m glad to have the first Tour year under my belt. It’s such a learning curve, dealing with a big field at each event and competing with 150 of the best anglers in the world. I feel like my season went well in 2012, but I have plenty of things to improve on. I’m thankful to be living out a life-long pursuit right now, and I’ll always give my best effort on and off the water. I hope that our bass fishing fans understand that Red Gold is behind our sport, and I hope that they support Red Gold by becoming loyal buyers of their tomato, ketchup, and salsa products. ”
