    Top-10 lures at Lake Hartwell

    South Carolina pro Casey Ashley dominated the Walmart FLW Tour presented by Ranger Boats event at Lake Hartwell last week, winning in wire-to-wire fashion in front of a hometown crowd. Yet, he wasn’t the only pro to successfully navigate the up-and-down weather conditions of the event for a high finish.

    Here’s a look at the entire roster of top-10 finishers from Hartwell and the lures they used to get to the final day.

    Winner Casey Ashley used a Shooter Lures jig trailed with a Zoom Super Chunk Jr. and a Mountain Man Lures shaky head rigged with a Zoom Finesse Worm.1.     Runner-up Andy Morgan showed the fish plenty of options, including a ½-ounce War Eagle jig trailed with a Zoom Chunk, a shaky head rigged with a Zoom Finesse Worm, a Sworming Hornet Fish Head Spin and a couple of War Eagle spinnerbaits.2.     Brett Hite worked Hartwell’s depths with a ¾-ounce Evergreen football jig tied with strands of brown, purple and green pumpkin in the skirt and trailed with a 5-inch Yamamoto Double Tail Grub.6.     Chevy pro Anthony Gagliardi made a serious bid to qualify for the Forrest Wood Cup on his home lake by finishing seventh with a Buckeye Lures Spot Remover shaky head rigged with a 5 ½-inch soft-plastic stick bait.7.
