In an ongoing effort to provide as much interaction between world-class anglers and fishing fans as possible, FLWOutdoors.com has announced the 40th installment of FLW Live Reel Chat. On Tuesday, Aug. 17 at 2 p.m. Central time (3 p.m. ET), visitors to FLWOutdoors.com will be able to correspond directly with Kevin Hawk, the 2010 Forrest Wood Cup champion, in a special live chat-room format.
Since 2007, Kevin Hawk of Ramona, Calif., has amassed 7 top-10 finishes, a 2010 Forrest Wood Cup title and nearly $650,000 in career earnings.
With his recent Cup win at Lake Lanier, Hawk joins a very select group of anglers who boast one of the most prestigious titles in the sport of professional bass fishing.
Chat directly with Hawk
Participation in the upcoming chat is simple. At the start of the next live chat on Aug. 17, visitors can log on at 2 p.m. Central time and interact or simply watch the chat unfold. As always, FLW Outdoors fishing fans may submit questions immediately and can continue asking questions throughout the entire duration of the Live Reel Chat.
During the chat fishing fans will be able to ask Hawk about his recent victory at the Forrest Wood Cup event on Lake Lanier, what it’s like to have a career as a professional bass angler, pose tips-and-technique questions or anything else that comes to mind. Again, visitors to FLWOutdoors.com are able to log on and submit questions in advance of the scheduled chat in order to have the first shot at getting their questions answered. It’s
also a great way to participate if you’re unable to make the live chat on Aug. 17. And for those who miss the chat entirely, a transcript of the event will be posted to the site in article form immediately following its conclusion.
In addition, bass-fishing fans who missed out on any previous FLW Live Reel Chats, can find links to their full transcripts here.
FLWOutdoors.com will offer the FLW Live Reel Chat format continually, with regularly scheduled chats occurring after each FLW Tour event. Also, additional chats will be added throughout each month as anglers or celebrities become available.
