Q.How are pros (boaters) and co-anglers paired for tournaments?
A. In an effort to promote fairness and good sportsmanship through all of our tournaments that pair pros, or boaters, with co-anglers (Wal-Mart FLW Tour, Wal-Mart FLW Series, Stren Series, Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League, Wal-Mart FLW Walleye Tour and Wal-Mart FLW Walleye League), fishing partners (boaters and their co-anglers) are randomly drawn by computer at the close of registration. Individual anglers do not select their own partners.

Q.How does FLW Outdoors determine tour standings?
A.Points are awarded to all anglers who receive weight credit, based on a points scale specific to the circuit (a 200-point scale for regular qualifying bass tournaments, 300-point scale for BFL Super Tournaments, 150-point scale for Walleye Tour events and a 100-point scale for Walleye League events). In a 200-point scale, for example, 200 points will be awarded to the winner of each qualifying event, 199 to 2nd, 198 to 3rd, etc. The same system is employed for the other points systems, but with 300, 150 or 100 points constituting the top points awards for tournament winners.

Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League
Q.Are boaters and co-anglers who register for all five tournaments within a Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League division guaranteed entry?
A. No. Only boaters and co-anglers who enter together receive entry priority into their respective divisions (either boater or co-angler).
These entries, like all entries, are also subject to time and date stamp and thus are processed in the order in which they are received. If
accepted into a tournament, boaters who enter with a co-angler are guaranteed to be drawn with a co-angler. If a competitor registers and
pays entry fees for all five tournaments within a division, they are guaranteed Wild Card eligibility.

Q.Why is the field cut for the second day of the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League Super Tournament?
A. The decision to try this format during
the last tournament of each Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League division was based on two primary goals: to increase public awareness of the
Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League and to provide a more lucrative opportunity for our anglers.
One way to increase public awareness is to increase spectator turnout at weigh-ins. To do this, the weigh-ins need to take place in or near a population center.
FLW Outdoors has successfully increased public awareness at events in other circuits, where audience size increases dramatically for day-three and day-four weigh-ins held at the local Wal-Mart store.
Safety for both anglers and fish is a top priority at the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League Super Tournaments as it is at all our tournaments. Transporting 400 Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League anglers
and their day's catch safely to the weigh-in location required the field be cut to the top 20 percent of boaters and co-anglers.

Q. Why are the entry fees greater for the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League Super Tournament than the entry fees for the rest of the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League events?
A.The entry fee for the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League Super Tournament is $300 for boaters and $150 for co-anglers. The purse pays out to the top 40 anglers in each division, plus big bass, like in regular Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League tournaments, but for the Super Tournaments, awards are substantially larger.
