    Wagner wins on Percy Priest

    Boater Adam Wagner of Cookeville, Tenn., earned $5,028 as winner of the April 2 BFL Music City Division tournament on Percy Priest.

    Boater Adam Wagner of Cookeville, Tenn., caught a five-bass limit weighing 13 pounds, 10 ounces April 2 to win $5,028 in the BFL Music City Division tournament on Percy Priest. Wagner was throwing a jig in the river, targeting rocks and trees in shallow water to sack his limit.

    Rounding out the remaining top 10 boaters:

    2nd: Terry Steele, Sparta, Tenn., four bass, 10-15, $1,514

    3rd: Danny Boggs, Fayetteville, Tenn., five bass, 10-9, $1,008

    4th: Adam Vance, Mount Juliet, Tenn., three bass, 10-8, $707

    5th: Tim Staley, Dowelltown, Tenn., three bass, 9-15, $606

    6th: Andrew Crabtree, Cane Ridge, Tenn., three bass, 9-10, $555

    7th: David Gnewikow, Mount Juliet, Tenn., five bass, 8-10, $505

    8th: Rogne Brown, Hixson, Tenn., three bass, 8-4, $454

    9th: Jeff Knight, Cleveland, Tenn., three bass, 7-11, $404

    McCoy winning co-angler

    Kibbee McCoy of Crossville, Tenn., earned $1,514 as winner of the Co-angler Division in the April 2 BFL Music City event.

    Kibbee McCoy of Crossville, Tenn., caught three bass weighing 7 pounds, 8 ounces to win $1,514 in the Co-angler Division. McCoy was using Megabass Magnum 110s, targeting points in the main lake.

    Coming up

    The next BFL Music City Division tournament is scheduled for April 30 on Center Hill Lake in Sparta, Tenn. After the fifth Music City Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Oct. 20-22 Regional Championship on Lake Chickamauga in Chattanooga, Tenn. Boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
