    Pro Todd McAdams of Fayetteville, Tenn., won the Feb. 12 BFL Choo Choo event on Lake Guntersville to earn $5,921 for a limit weighing 25 pounds, 1 ounce.

    Boater Todd McAdams of Fayetteville, Tenn., caught a five-bass limit weighing 25 pounds, 1 ounce Feb. 12 to win $5,921 in the BFL Choo Choo Division tournament on Lake Guntersville. He fished channel buoys near the North Sauty in 6 to nine 9 of water with Rat-L-Traps to take home the crown.

    Rounding out the remaining top 10 boaters:

    3rd: Keith Witt, Warrior, Ala., five bass, 21-14, $1,974

    4th: Daniel Whitaker, Phil Campbell, Ala., five bass, 21-5, $1,382

    5th: Rick Armstrong, Owens Cross Roads, Ala., five bass, 21-4, $1,184

    6th: Tim Wilson, Gas City, Ind., five bass, 20-6, $1,085

    7th: Danny Shell, Albertville, Ala., five bass, 19-15, $987

    Josh Fordham of Glencoe, Ala., caught a five-bass limit weighing 25 pounds, 1 ounce Feb. 12 to win $2,960 in the Co-angler Division. He was in shallow grass using Rat-L-Traps to earn his victory.

    Coming up

    The next BFL Choo Choo Division tournament is scheduled for March 19 on Lake Guntersville in Scottsboro, Ala. After the fifth Choo Choo Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Nov. 3-5 Regional Championship on Lake Hartwell in Anderson, S.C. Boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Mercury outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
