Arkansas River (June 26, 2010)
Boater Michael Thompson of Broken Arrow, Okla., caught a five-bass limit weighing 16 pounds, 8 ounces Saturday to win $3,632 in the FLW BFL Okie Division tournament on the Arkansas River. Thompson was finesse-fishing six miles upstream with soft plastics to catch his limit.

Snyder winning co-angler
Gary Snyder of Bixby, Okla., caught a five-bass limit weighing 13 pounds, 6 ounces to win $1,816 in the Co-angler Division on the Arkansas River. Snyder was fishing the Halton Pool using a finesse worm to sack his limit.

The next and last BFL Okie Division tournament of 2010 is scheduled for Sept. 18-19, a Super Tournament at Grand Lake in Grove, Okla. After that the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Oct. 14-16 Regional Championship at Lake Texoma in Denison, Texas, where boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
