    Sadler best boater on Lake Cumberland

    Boater Drew Sadler of Richmond, Ky., won the May 8 BFL Mountain Division event to earn $3,671.

    Boater Drew Sadler of Richmond, Ky., caught a five-bass limit weighing 14 pounds, 7 ounces Saturday to win $3,671 in the BFL Mountain Division tournament on Lake Cumberland.

    Rounding out the top 10 boaters:

    Andrew Grills of Williamsburg, Ky., won the Co-angler Division of the May 8 BFL Mountain Division event to earn $1,835.Andrew Grills of Williamsburg, Ky., caught two bass weighing 8 pounds even Saturday to win $1,835 in the Co-angler Division on Lake Cumberland.

    Coming up

    The next BFL Mountain Division tournament is scheduled for June 19 at Barren River in Scottsville, Ky. After the fifth Mountain Division tournament is complete, the top 40 boaters and 40 co-anglers based on point standings will qualify for the Oct. 7-9 Regional Championship at Lake Barkley in Kuttawa, Ky., where boaters will compete for a top award of a Ranger 198VX with a 200-horsepower Evinrude or Yamaha outboard and a Chevy pick-up, while co-anglers will fish for a new Ranger 198VX.
