Fishing License: A Vermont fishing license (www.vtfishandwildlife.com) is reciprocal with New York for all of Lake Champlain with the exception of the southern most tip of the lake. A New York fishing license is good in Vermont with the exception of Malletts Bay, the Gut, Albug Passage, Missisquoi Bay, and the Inland Sea. Licenses may be purchased at Walmart.
