Off-limits: Rule #12 of the official rules plus fish release area at weigh-in site. A U.S. Coast Guard State boating course and D.C. license required when fishing D.C. waters. The free safety course can be taken online at www.boatus.com.

License: Maryland and Virginia license do reciprocate, however fishing above the Woodrow Wilson Bridge does require a D.C. license. All anglers fishing in Maryland waters must be prepared to present a valid drivers license or some sort of picture ID along with fishing license. D.C. license may be purchased at Fred's Sporting Goods (301.843.3040)
