Bohannan is a power fisherman who loves to throw a crankbait. He began fishing FLW tournaments in 1999 in the Ozark Division of the BFL circuit, and cashed his first check in 2005 by winning at Grand Lake.
Bohannan is married and has a son. He and his wife are honorary chairmen for the EOA Children’s House in northwest Arkansas, which serves as a long-term treatment center for abused and neglected children in the United States.
