Arguably known as the king of flipping and pitching, Tommy Biffle has made his career fishing shallow cover with a jig and flipping stick. Over his 25 years of professional angling, Biffle has used this technique almost exclusively to earn his winnings. Through his determination and confidence, Biffle has been the runner-up three times in the Forrest Wood Cup and once in the Bassmaster Classic. In his FLW career, he has over a half million dollars in earnings throughout the various circuits. Whenever there is a good flipping and pitching bite going on, look for Biffle to make a charge up the leaderboard.
Biffle states that if he was not a professional bass angler he would most likely have strived to become a racecar driver or professional golfer.
