Baumgardner began fishing the FLW Tour in 1996. His first Tour victory came in 2007 at the Potomac River. Baumgarnder recently fell just short of another Tour win in 2012 at Kentucky Lake. He led the tournament going into the final day, but ended up finishing second, weighing in his smallest bag of the week.
Baumgardner is a former underground construction contractor and when he is not fishing, there is a good chance that you can find him on the golf course.
